Visit Our New Show Hut At The Old Potato Yard

show-hut

We could easily talk about our shepherd’s huts for hours on end, but it’s not until you see one in its physical form that you can really get a feel for their charm. For that reason, we like to build a show hut or two to give you an idea of the general size and quality of our huts, therefore allowing you to imagine how you could potentially use your own hut!

Our newest show hut is a prime example of our most popular model. It features a veranda with a traditional wood burning stove and a spacious and versatile interior with underfloor heating. We’ve also included a custom wallpaper featuring a beautiful rural landscape — just one of an infinite number of wallpaper options that you could choose yourself (read more about our custom wallpaper option here).

This particular show hut first ventured out of the workshop for the Salisbury Home and Garden show on the 20th March. As it was a rather grey and chilly day, we were more willing than ever to invite visitors into the warmth of our hut for a chat. Many thanks to everybody who stopped by!

After a successful day at the show, we moved the hut to The Old Potato Yard in Lydeway. The yard’s entrance will be its home for the foreseeable future and the hut will often be open on a Saturday for you to have a good look inside! If you would like to arrange a specific time to visit, call Cath on: 07903 313 922.

The Old Potato Yard is just four miles south east of Devizes and, with a variety of independent retailers and plenty of free parking, makes a lovely family day out. With small independent businesses being such a rarity these days, the Old Potato Yard provides an ideal opportunity to show your support and treat yourself to some unique, high-quality products!

Let’s take a closer look at what the yard has to offer…
